Remember This, Always

Can you see the person you want to be? Can you envision how that person looks, what that person does, how that person speaks? Do you think that person feels differently, sees differently? Is that person as beautiful as you can imagine? Take a good look at this person.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

Take the steps you need to become that beautiful, amazing person. It could take years, decades. Keep that person in mind and know that someday, you will be beautiful like that person. You are beautiful now, but you can be more beautiful, beautiful like the person you want to become.

Make friends with someone who has opposing viewpoints about life.

Man has never learned anything from people who agree with him.

Get into an argument.

Prove your point.

Learn something about yourself.

WE MUST BELIEVE

What do you believe in?

That everyone deserves a hug? That people need to break out of their cold shells? Or do you believe that all high school students must learn calculus to better their lives? That everyone must accept him or herself? That size 5 is the healthiest size a girl can be?

Regardless of what it is, your goals and dreams are what drive you. You must truly believe in something and be willing to give up everything to fight for it. It will give you meaning, it will add to your meaning.

Feel something. Fight for it. Let it be your mantra.

When we do something differently, we open our eyes. When we open our eyes, we enlighten ourselves.

And enlightenment will help us find something important, something we consider precious and meaningful.

Maybe some of us are born with meaning and we have something we need to know. Maybe others of us need to find meaning. And maybe others of us need to create meaning.

We must do more than simply just survive. We must be meaningful. YOUR LIFE IS NOT MEANINGLESS. Believe in it.
